Four Winds Hospital hosts a voluntary spiritual meeting every Saturday as part of the treatment program for our patients. They are non-denominational, non-religious meetings focused on helping patients access events or experiences in their lives that give them a sense of spirituality. These spiritual gatherings include music and inspirational talks by local religious leaders. Our goal is to help patients, religious or non-religious, to be able to feel “spiritual” as a way of helping them feel less depressed, less confused, and less anxious. Our hope is that when our patients leave Four Winds and return to home and family, they will draw upon their personal and spiritual experience to help them meet the challenges we all face.
