This program is designed for adolescents, ages 13 through 17, who exhibit psychiatric symptoms of
sufficient severity to bring about significant impairment in day-to-day educational, social and
interpersonal functioning. The program is medically supervised and can be an appropriate
alternative to inpatient treatment, or can provide a transition from inpatient care to outpatient care.
The adolescent’s family and referring therapist are encouraged to participate in the treatment and
discharge planning process.
Program features include:
- A multidisciplinary team approach comprised of psychiatrists, social workers and
patient coordinators
- A comprehensive psychiatric assessment if needed
- Individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each person’s therapeutic needs
- Medication management
- Psychoeducational groups
- Transportation to the program available
Family Services Available
Family participation is strongly encouraged in this highly structured,
intensive outpatient program.
Services include:
- Multi-family group meetings
- Group psychotherapy
- Family therapy as needed
- Parent coaching support group
