Immediate opening for a full-time Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas and ensure infection control procedures/standard precautions are utilized to help maintain an infection free environment. The full-time Housekeeper will work from 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, while also working one weekend shift every four weeks.  Preference will be given to candidates familiar with hospital housekeeping procedures. Flexibility to accommodate last minute and/or short notice scheduling is a plus.

The housekeeper will disinfect bathrooms; sweep, vacuum and mop; empty and clean waste baskets; dust woodwork, walls, lights and vents; clean glass, walls, furniture and woodwork with a disinfectant cleaner.

Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs.  Valid NYS driver’s license preferred.
