Admissions Clinician (Part-Time)

Four Winds – Saratoga is seeking applicants for a part time Admissions Clinician to initiate and facilitate the preadmission and admission process; admit patients in keeping with New York State Mental Hygiene Law in a highly confidential manner;

conduct psychiatric evaluations for all age populations in the pre-admission and admission process ; manage daily and crisis referrals with regard to inpatient services; handle busy office phones; provide administrative triage and support.   

Successful applicants will be a licensed clinician (LCSW or LMSW) with 3 - 5 years clinical psychiatric experience, preferred. Successful candidate will possess excellent verbal & written skills; ability to interact with patients, families and other mental health professionals in an exemplary way; strong computer skills and knowledge of insurance and managed care processes.
