Receptionist 

Part time (16hrs/week - Every other Saturday/Sunday, 7:00am – 3:30pm )

This position operates the hospital multiple telephone line system as well as the two-way radio systems. Responsibilities include:

  • Receive all incoming calls and forward them to the appropriate extension within the facility
  • Greeting and registering hospital visitors, provide them with information or direction and announcing visitors to appropriate hospital personnel
  • Clerical duties such as copy work, data entry, faxing and typing; monitoring and processing the emergency alarm systems according to hospital policies and procedures. 
  • Successful applicant must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three years related experience.
  • Preference will be given to those with a higher education.
  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to work independently; computer knowledge, ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.  

The pay range is $16.50/hr - $21.75/hr.

Successful candidate will have the flexibility to cover shifts as needed, including some weekdays for scheduled vacations or unscheduled absences within the department.
