Maintenance Manager

Four Winds Saratoga is seeking applicants for immediate opening as a full time Maintenance Support Services Manager in our Plant Operations department. This cross-functional position is responsible for management and supervision of maintenance health and safety functions across the hospital campus. 

Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree in a related field or formal technical training certificate preferred. Five years' experience in hospital/health care environment with two years of supervisory experience including Joint Commission regulations and Life Safety code.   Unrestricted NYS driver license required. Prior experience/training in safety and security preferred. Ability to work independently and follow tasks through to completion; conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines; safely operate all basic tools, equipment and motorized vehicles; ability to react and participate in crisis intervention. General experience in painting, electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning required. 

Completion of Safe Driver training course upon hire.

The position requires standing, extensive walking, climbing ladders, maneuvering and working in confined areas. Must be able to lift and carry 80 lbs. 

The schedule is 37.5hrs/week, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend coverage as needed.
