That includes providing information about our standard charges, the list of insurance plans accepted by the hospital, and alerting you to the possibility of out-of-pocket expenses.

Hospitals are required to make available information about standard charges for the services they provide. The standard charges are $1,800 per day for inpatient treatment, $675 per day for partial hospitalization and $400 per day for the intensive outpatient program. However, hospitals negotiate payment rates with insurers, HMOs, and managed care plans and those rates may be different from standard charges and from each other. Deductibles and co-payments, if any, vary, and you could receive a bill for those costs.
