Anger Management: learn to become aware of anger triggers, physical cues and ways to manage/regulate
Banner Group: vote on therapeutic word (that resonates with current treatment) to expand (write/draw) on banner paper and hang.
Communication Skills: learn different styles of communication and practice, increase awareness.
Coping Skills: explore different strategies to assist during times of crisis/or to regulate self during difficult emotions.
Discharge Planning: explore triggers, strategies learned and supports available once returning back to school/home.
Expressive Arts: the use of art/form/color/shape to explore emotions/personal situations/growth/past/present.
Family Dynamics: identify and explore relations with specific family members and how to navigate difficult relations/emotions/situations.
Feelings Identification: increase self-awareness of emotional triggers/physical cues and methods of regulating said emotions.
Gratitude Program-Practice: focus on the little and larger aspects of what gratitude is in everyday life and how it effects our perception, positive growth mindset.
Leisure Skills: explore different productive tasks/projects to assist during transitional times in day and down times.
Medication Teaching: in depth discussion/teaching of what medications taken; reason for them, side effects and importance of maintain regime.
Mindfulness: learn and explore ways of increasing awareness in self and surroundings to help with grounding techniques and emotional regulation.
Self Esteem: explore meaning of self esteem/worth and how environmental/familial and social factors effect it and how it effects all aspects of daily life and how navigate to increasing awareness/personal growth.
Skills Building: learn and practice skills to use for a variety of issues; communication, emotional regulation, conflict resolution, social situations.
Social Skills: explore different ways to socialize, read social cues, maintain positive interactions.
Strength Building: explore and expand on positive character traits and learn how to effectively use them to assist with personal growth.
